Products
CAB Designs makes a wide variety of custom wind charts for many shooting applications. Wind charts can be configured with three or four range rossettes. Three rosette charts also have a Wind Speed Estimating Guide on the side with the single rosette. Ranges are specified by the customer and can be calculated in either yards or meters.
Our wind charts are unique since all ballistic calculations are preformed using specified data. While the bullet manufacturer's B.C. (ballistic coeffecient) is normally used, we can also use customer supplied B.C.'s. All calculations use the customer's muzzle velocity information.
Environmental conditions, such as elevation, temperature, humidity and barometric pressure can affect exterior ballistics. Calculations can be made using standard conditions (0 ft. MSL, 59F, 78% R.H., 29.53") or those specified by the customer.
Charts can be configured in sight clicks (1/8 MOA, 1/4 MOA, 1/2 MOA or 1 MOA) or inches.
Each rosette is clearly marked with the range, bullet and muzzle velocity. Each custom wind chart is personalized with the customer's name. Finished charts are laminated with .007" film and are completely waterproof.

Highpower
Conventional Highpower Rifle competition is normally shot at 200 yards, 300 yards and 600 yards. Our custom wind charts for Highpower typically have three range rosettes, one for each of the previously mentioned distances. custom wind charts for Reduced Course matches are also available. custom wind charts can be configured with a different bullet at each distance. For example, a custom wind chart for .223 Remington might have a magazine length bullet for 200 yard and 300 yards and have a high B.C. bullet for 600 yards. We can prepare custom wind charts for any combination of ranges with 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or 1 minute sight corrections.
Long Range
Technically, Highpower Long Range is fired beyond 600 yards. Nothwithstanding, many long range matches are fired at 600 yards. Long range custom wind charts can be configured with any combination of ranges.
Palma
Palma is a specific type of long range competition shot at 800 yards, 900 yards and 1,000 yards. International Palma is limited to .308 Winchester using 155 grain bullets. Custom wind charts specifically for Palma competion will be configured with 800 yard, 900 yard and 1,000 yard rosettes.
Mini Palma
Mini Palma is a type of prone smallbore shooting that is a miniature form of traditional Highpower Palma. Mini Palma is shot at 100 yards, 150 yards and 200 yards. Our standard Mini Palma charts are calculated using the ballistic information of standard velocity premium .22 rimfire ammunition. We can prepare Custom Wind Charts with 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or 1 minute sight corrections.
Smallbore
Over the past few years, we've had an increasing number of shooters request custom wind charts for various forms of smallbore competition. After considerable research, we have ballistic coefficient and velocity data on most .22LR premium target ammunition. We can prepare custom wind charts for any combination of ranges with 1/8, 1/4, 1/2 or 1 minute sight corrections.
Varmint
Custom wind charts are the ideal accessory for the varmint hunter. Typically, a set of multiple cards is supplied with ranges and increments specified by the customer.
Tactical
Tactical custom wind charts are different than our other charts. Typically, tactical shooters require a smaller chart that can easily fit in a pocket. Our tactical charts have one range rosette on each side with the set of charts held together with a steel ring. Tactical custom wind charts are configured using customer specified ranges.
